KOREAN DIVISION

hello, everyone. I'm back.
okay, now I will discuss Korean split into two what we now call south korea and north korea.

Korean division, going on the block Allied victory against Japan.
Ending the occupation of Japan to Korea for 35 years.
And on a proposal that it can hardly be accepted almost All Korean people because it is considered harmful.
And temporarily korea supervised by the Soviet Union and the United States with a latitude of 38 degrees north latitude separator.
Aims to provide the freedom and independence of the Korean state.
This was the cause of South Korea and North Korea has a lot of differences with the government system.

the end of the Second World War .

Finally in november 1943, the bloc allies to discuss what they would do in Japan.
And they decided that Japan had lost all its colonies.
It was done so that the Japanese do not quickly rise from adversity.
And for the Korean nationalism, they expect immediate independence.
And at the end of 1945, Japan is really lose and give up the colony.

They intend to let Korean independence, but considering the power of the Soviet Union they imprison themselves very rapidly and large.
However, the Soviet Union had first arrived in Korea at 38 degrees latitude.
Block allies know this and immediately sent - Dean Rusk and Charles Bonesteel - to keep korea area match the content of the agreement both of them.
With a little time, they determined 38 degrees Ludengan National Geographic is considered midway between Korea. And so South Korean capital Seoul (until now Seoul) led the United States.
Two people do not realize that forty years earlier, Japan and Russia have discussed the division of Korea along the same latitude; Rusk later said that he knew he "almost certainly" would choose a different line. However, the decision was hastily written into General Order No. 1 for the management of postwar Japan.
General Abe Nobuyuki, the Governor-General of Japan in Korea the last, t associated with a number of influential Koreans since the beginning of August 1945 to prepare for the transfer of power. On August 15, 1945, Lyuh Woon-Hyung, a moderate left-wing politicians, agreed to take over. She is preparing for the establishment of a new country and working hard to build the structure of government. On 6 September 1945, congressional representatives convene in Seoul. Preparation of basic modern Korean state took place just three weeks after Japan's surrender. The government is dominated by the left wing, which was partly caused by many situation .

The situation after the war.

In the north

Soldiers formed a soviet regime for the whole region in korea. In March 1946 land reform was instituted because the land once occupied Japan. North Korean land reform is achieved in a way that is not too hard. U.S. official sources stated, "Of all the records, the former village elders eliminated as a political force without leading to bloodshed, but the action was very carefully taken to prevent their return to power." This policy is very fun among farmers, but causing many collaborators and former landowners fled to South Korea where some of them to obtain a position in the new South Korean government. According to the U.S. military government, 400,000 North Koreans to South Korea as refugees.
The economic situathon in North Korea is almost as difficult as in South Korea, because Japan is concentrated in the southern agriculture and heavy industry in the north. economy north korea consequently derived from heavy industry.
In February 1946 the interim government called the North Korean Provisional People's Committee was formed under the leadership of Kim Il-sung, who has spent the last few years to practice war with Soviet forces in Manchuria.
Increasingly heated battle over power to Pyongyang.
Local governments seize land and meyebabakan many kabulator diedan fighters who agree with a lot of views on imperialism and communism kolonialism .

In the south

United States is more focused on Japan, resulting in Korea under the military units of the Government. While the Japanese government placed on the Civil Unit.

Changes in the administration of the two countries only changed a little bit, keep the Japanese officers.
Governor of Japan did not abandon their position, they still rule until mid-September . The decision angered most Koreans, because Japan has been assisting exploit Korea. Anger is intensified when the U.S. military chose to give many government positions for Koreans who is considered to have betrayed their country by working with Japanese authorities.
An anti-communist named Syngman Rhee, who returned to Korea after decades in exile in the United States, is considered as an acceptable candidate to lead the country while because he was considered friendly to the United States. Under Rhee, the South Korean government while doing a military campaign against rebels who took up arms against the government and persecute political opponents. Over the next few years, between 30.00 and 100,000 people lost their lives during the war against leftist rebels.  In August 1948, Syngman Rhee became the first president of South Korea, and the U.S. troops to leave the peninsula.
